After 25 years experience
in the roofing industry in Australia and overseas, and being
constantly asked by clients for insulated shade solutions at
an affordable cost, it was apparent that there was a need for
a man-made product to be developed to fill this need.
Therma-shade has invested considerable capital over several
years in development and material trials, to produce a product
that we are proud to deliver to you today.
Therma-shade thatching is made in a patented process using recycled
pvc material,which incorporates the use of rock dust to provide
strength and insulating properties. Added to this are hardwood
timber fibres, UV stabilisers and specially developed coloured
pigments to give a natural appearance with extreme durability.
Much of the research and development has taken place off-shore
as the affordability for the Australian market has been our
major focus. (No good having a fantastic product that is too
expensive for the marketplace).
The steel framework has been designed to allow for easy DIY
installation and is painted in a highly durable black finish.
